Dr. Katz is a native of DeKalb, Illinois. He joined Spokane Cardiology in 1991.  Dr. Katz is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Katz completed his Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He remained at Emory as a Fellow in Interventional Cardiology at the Andreas Gruentzig Cardiovascular Center. Dr. Katz received his medical degree from Tulane University.
