Dr. Leimgruber is a native of Zurich, Switzerland. He joined Spokane Cardiology in 1985.  Dr. Leimgruber is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Leimgruber trained with Dr. Andreas R. Gruentzig, the "father of angioplasty," at Emory University in Atlanta. He received his medical degree from the University of Zurich and completed his Cardiology Fellowship in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
