Dr. Peterson is a native of Illinois. He joined Spokane Cardiology in 1999. Dr. Peterson is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Peterson completed his Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Dr. Peterson has completed a one-year fellowship in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions at Mid-America Heart Institute, a well-respected institution in Kansas City, Missouri. His training included a host of leading-edge coronary and peripheral vascular diagnostics and interventional therapies.
